If you guys have not heard of The Invictus Stream, then you are definitely missing out.  This is a weekly Actual Play over YouTube Live Stream Hangouts that occurs every Wednesday night with 5 very awesome guys from Canada.

Now I know you are probably thinking.  “Yeah sure, I have watched people role-play on YouTube already.”  But what sets their channel apart from others are the following:

  • They don’t just play One specific ruleset and storyline.  They cover a multitude of rulesets and have already played the following games.
    • Call of Cthulhu
    • DragonAge RPG
    • Numenera
    • D&D 5th Edition (Homebrew)
    • Deadlands (Savage Worlds)
    • The Strange RPG
    • End of the World RPG (Zombies and Alien Invasion)
    • Cypher System
    • Star Wars (FFG Age of Rebellion)
  • They use awesome professional grade Overlays
  • Dice Rolls on screen so you can see the action
  • They dress up in character and actually Role-play their characters the whole way through.
  • They have a dedicated Facebook Group that you can interact with the community and the guys from the Invictus Stream directly.  They have ways for your to get XP to use during their games.
  • You can tune in Live on Wednesday evenings (8PM EST) and interact and change the outcome of the game by using said XP above.
  • They have an open community of people who invite others to participate in online game over Hangouts as well.
  • They do shout outs to members during their games
  • And they are just plain in it for ALL the fun

In a nutshell, these guys are awesome and they have inspired me and others like me to get into Role-Playing more and to not be afraid to pick up a new rule-book and dive in.  Here is just a sample of one of their many games.  If you like what you see, definitively use the links below the video and check out all their stuff.
